Here’s how you can layer the KO-COON zipped swaddle for different temperatures:
✔️Warm Weather (25-30°C)
Swaddle only: The cotton swaddle should be sufficient on its own.
✔️Mild Weather (21-24°C)
Light Layer: Use a short-sleeved bodysuit or vest underneath the swaddle.
✔️Cool Weather (18-20°C)
Moderate Layer: Use a long-sleeved bodysuit or sleepsuit underneath the swaddle.
✔️Cold Weather (16-18°C)
Warm Layer: Use a long-sleeved bodysuit and a thicker sleepsuit or baby gown underneath the swaddle.
Our Merino Wool quilted zipped swaddles are a better fit for this temperature.
✔️Very Cold Weather (Below 16°C)
Heavy Layer: Use multiple layers such as a long-sleeved bodysuit, a sleepsuit, and a warmer baby gown. Additionally, consider using a baby sleep sack instead the cotton swaddle for extra warmth.
Our Merino Wool quilted zipped swaddles are a better fit for this temperature.
Additional Tips:
❗️Always ensure the baby is not overheating by checking their back or neck to feel if they are too warm or sweaty.
❗️Adjust layers based on the baby’s comfort and the nursery temperature.
❗️Use natural fiber garments like cotton, bamboo, hemp or wool as they are breathable and help regulate the baby’s temperature.
